Exile Fitness is hands down the most badass gym I’ve ever trained at. The atmosphere here is electric and built to push you beyond your limits—whether you’re just getting started or deep into your fitness journey, this place will motivate you to go harder every time you walk in. What really sets Exile apart is the people. Everyone is down to earth, genuine, and always willing to lend a hand or offer advice. There’s no ego here—just a strong community of people who are serious about training and supporting each other. If you’re looking for a gym that fuels real progress, Exile is the place.

This is a gym junkie heaven. They literally have a machine for every body part, muscle group that you think an average gym will not have, they will. Atmosphere is great. Energy level is high, motivation all around. Definitely going back

really hardcore and supportive environment. Loud music and heavy weights. Lots of folks taking their training seriously with what's probably the best selection of equipment you'll ever see. not a place for the thin skinned, but a great gym nonetheless. Update: gym has moved to a new location and is bigger and better than ever. So cool to see new equipment every month and a bunch of lifters serious about their training.

the best gym in maryland from the staff to the weights to the cardio and mirror room this is the best place to work out and have no complaints spending 2 hours a day in the only thing that could put the icing on the cake is if thy added a sauna but still best gym

This gym is definitely up there as one of the best. I love the equipment, and the staff was nice. I recommend them to anyone in Baltimore Maryland looking for a nice gym.

This is one of my best gyms I've ever been to. They have an insane amount of equipment. The gym is so big, I feel like I was exploring new rooms any where I turned. They section the equipment based on muscle group. I loved the large variety of Nautilus, Panatta, Icarian, and Cybex equipment.

Exile Fitness is beyond a shadow of a doubt the very BEST gym I have ever been a member of in my 20+ years of working out! The family atmosphere, the fantastic variety of services, meals and in-house supplements and merchandise are unbelievable. The size of the gym and the insane number of machines, free weights, cardio options and other amenities is second to none!!

Initially, I went here Because of a raving review, from a coworker, when I was visiting the area. I was immediately impressed with the customer service I received when initially entering the gym. I was personally greeted and given an overview of the gym. Not only was the customer service top-notch, The gym had an amazing set up. I felt like a kid in a candy shop with all the options they had. If you’re a serious athlete within bodybuilding, powerlifting, and or MMA community you’ll probably have the same jaw-dropping experience I had. *Disclaimer* my review only scratched the surface of everything they have. You’ll have to check them out yourself to find out more.

If you’re anywhere near Rosedale, Maryland, do yourself a favor and check out Exile Fitness. I’m currently traveling for work and was looking for a solid place to train while I’m in town. What I found was more than just a gym — it’s a true family-run business that takes real pride in its Maryland roots and community. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt different. You can tell this isn’t some big corporate chain. It’s locally owned, built by people who genuinely care about the members and the culture they’re creating. The owners are hands-on, welcoming, and clearly invested in the gym’s success and the people who walk through the doors. In fact, when they found out I’m a first responder, the owner’s wife generously gave me a free week pass. That kind of appreciation and support speaks volumes about who they are and what this gym stands for. Before landing at Exile Fitness, I tried another local spot, Grind HarCo. It was decent overall, but much smaller with limited equipment. The training style there felt heavily geared toward CrossFit-style workouts. If that’s your thing, it may be a good fit — but for someone like me who wants a broader range of equipment and training options, it felt restrictive. Exile Fitness, on the other hand, is built for everyone. Whether you’re a beginner just getting comfortable in the gym or a seasoned lifter chasing PRs, the layout and equipment selection support all styles of training: • Full racks and platforms for powerlifting • A wide range of plate-loaded and selectorized machines • Ample free weights and dumbbells • Cardio equipment for conditioning • Space for functional training without it taking over the entire gym Nothing feels cramped, and you’re not waiting around for equipment. It strikes that perfect balance — hardcore enough for serious lifters, but welcoming and unintimidating for newcomers. What really sets Exile Fitness apart, though, is the culture. There’s a strong sense of community here. Members res
